Global supplier accolade awarded by Bosch

Shell lubricants companies have received a highly coveted 'Supplier Award' from the Bosch Group for sustained outstanding work in the supply of products and services

Shell expertise and commitment to research and development were fundamental in securing the Award from the Bosch Group.

Bosch also cited the Shell ability to provide lubricants of a consistently high quality on a global scale as a key reason for the accolade.

David Pirret, Executive Vice President of Shell Lubricants, comments: "We are honoured that the Bosch Group, an organisation that shares our commitment to excellence and innovation, has recognised the importance of Shell Lubricants work, products and expertise in delivering value to their business".

Says Franz Fehrenbach, chairman of the board of management of the Bosch Group: "Our global growth is only possible with strong partners.

This is why we pursue a policy of international purchasing and a global supplier strategy".

This is now the eleventh time Bosch, a leading supplier of technology and services, has conferred its supplier award since 1987.

The award is open to suppliers the world over, and is presented every two years.

For 2005 and 2006, the award was given in five categories to a total of 47 companies from 14 countries.
