Silicone sponge is tear-resistant and
non-toxic
Samco expanded silicone sponge is now available in an increased range of colours and densities including sheet and extruded sections, cord, tubing and gaskets, all having a tear-resistant skin.
Not giving off toxic fumes in the event of fire and also available with UL94VO fire retardant rating, this highly versatile material contains no CFCs It has a fine closed cell structure encapsulated by a smooth and resilient outer skin to give a low degree of moisture absorbency and offers a wide continuous service temperature range of -50 to +200 degrees C
Sheet, gaskets and extruded profiles can be supplied with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing and cord can be joined to form continuous seals.
