Non-metallic magnetic drive centrifugal
pumps
Compact and lightweight, yet reassuringly robust and reliable, the new Finish Thompson KC range of non-metallic magnetic drive centrifugal pumps are available with ATEX certification
Smaller, lighter, compact, lightweight, robust and reliable: these are the key features and benefits offered by the Finish Thompson KC range of non-metallic magnetic drive centrifugal pumps, available in the UK exclusively through Michael Smith Engineers The performance envelope of these pumps has recently been extended following the introduction of pumps with closed impellers and multistage units

Hydra-Cell pumps a 'cost-effective alternative'
Michael Smith Engineers has announced that Hydra-Cell pumps are a cost-effective alternative to traditional metering pumps.
Small pump package delivers big performance
The Micropump innovative I-Drive electromagnetic drive has been developed to meet the increasing demands from OEM engineers and machine builders who require high performance from less space
Pumps with ATEX certification are also now available.
At the same time the prices of all models in the range have been significantly reduced making them a very cost effective solution for handling aggressive fluids.
The 3 Series of KC pumps are designed to deliver flow rates up to 44 m3/hr, with heads of up to 32 metres.
They can handle temperatures up to a maximum of 104C and Specific Gravities to 1.8.
They are ideal for applications such as metal treatment, water and effluent treatment, finishing industries or wherever leak-free, efficient pumping is required.
Use of Neodymium rare earth magnets, which are a fraction of the weight of conventional ceramic magnets, leads to a more compact design combined with improved performance.
The small Neodymium magnets combined with carbon bushings and ceramic spindle contribute to an un-matched extended run dry capability of up to 24 hours on some of the pumps.
The cantilevered design of the ceramic spindle provides added impact resistance reducing breakage, friction losses and heat build-up.
The range is available with either Polypropylene or PVDF housings which provide excellent chemical and corrosion resistance; and pumps can be supplied with either screwed or ANSI flanged connections.
