The Select offer covers a broad range of equipment from the Schneider Electric major brands, divisions and companies.
These include Merlin Gerin, Square D, Clipsal, MITA, Telemecanique and Sarel.
Because the wholesalers are not compelled to place substantial stocking orders they are encouraged to offer the Schneider Electric product portfolio.
To further aid the process, Schneider Electric has simplified the ordering process, pledged 24-hour turnaround on goods ordered and has published an attractive short-form catalogue in which it is exceptionally easy to locate products.
Participating wholesalers are also given access to technical support as well as marketing communications aimed at increasing demand and promoting products.
An initial Select pack has been sent to thousands of wholesalers to introduce them to the offer and Schneider Electric anticipates having greatly expanded distribution early into 2005.
Customers of the Select wholesalers will gain reassurance from both being able to rely on the highest quality standards in the Schneider Electric equipment, and from the knowledge that all the products comply with the latest legislative directives and recommendations.
