Schneider Electric supports Tsunami aid
effort
Schneider Electric is donating substantial funds, equipment and services to aid efforts in the most affected countries of the Tsunami disaster

Together with site based fundraising drives, Schneider Electric expects its overall donations to exceed $3m.
The company's donation of equipment and services will help towards the re-establishment of drinking water supply systems and re-electrification in the disaster-struck areas.
Local Schneider Electric teams are also working on reconstruction project plans, which the company will be funding and co-funding.
On January 18, 2005, each Schneider Electric site across the globe will organise a one-day fundraising drive to increase donations and help fund the reconstruction projects.
Each employee donation will be matched by the company.
This will take place under the auspices of the Schneider Electric Foundation, which works on projects to help areas and people in need.
"We are committed to helping the victims of the Tsunami disaster and will continue to do all we can to improve their situation," stated Gael de la Rochère, managing director of Schneider Electric (UK).
The fundraising operations will be coordinated by the Schneider Electric Foundation under Gilles Vermot Desroches, and with the close involvement of local country managers.
