Breakers offer long lasting power connections

New from Telemecanique, a brand of Schneider Electric, is a range of thermal magnetic and magnetic only circuit breakers, which offer strong, safe and long lasting power connections

Renowned for its experience in the development of motor starter solutions, Telemecanique has developed a range of 9 to 65 amp circuit breakers with features offering the user an enhanced and higher performing offer.

Ingenuity and simplicity are the key with this new range: thanks to its new Everlink power terminals, the GV3 breaker assures improved reliability of connections over time.

Everlink is designed to maintain a constant tightening force on the cables and provides a strong, safe and long lasting connection, even in the most arduous of conditions and applications.

The advantages of Everlink are:.

* Reduced maintenance time - due to terminal re-tightening being no longer required.

* Safety of the connections provided by the BTR screw and its 4mm Allen key - which enables a high tightening torque (minimum 5Nm).

* Increased operator safety due to the IP20 power terminations.

The new breakers have a rotary operator and this facilitates a high breaking capacity ( 50kA / 400v from 40 to 65 amps and 100kA / 400v from 9 to 32amps).

The handle has 3 positions (on / off / trip) and can be padlocked off.

Each breaker also has a trip test button and a sealable flap for protection of the thermal setting.

The GV3 breakers have an astute and versatile design offering the flexibility of using side and front mounted add-on blocks that are also common to the popular GV2 range.

All of the range are very compact at 55mmm wide and easy to install thanks to a DIN rail locking mechanism.

Clean and easy control wiring is achieved using an integrated wiring channel.
