Schneider enhances key system integrator channel

A Schneider Electric product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Nov 5, 2007

Recognising the importance of the system integrator channel as a key route to market, Schneider Electric has announced major enhancements to its System Integrator Policy

The new policy is designed to focus even more tightly on developing successful business partnerships, as well as building on the existing reputation for excellence of the products and services provided to the end customer.

At the heart of the new System Integrator Policy is an improved package of benefits for Schneider Electric Alliance Partners and Specialists, which will be reflected in improved services for end customers.

One of the most important enhancements to the package is upgraded terms on automation equipment as well as on a broad range of other Schneider Electric products, ensuring that Alliance Partners and Specialists are always in the best position to develop cost-effective solutions for their customers.

Schneider Electric is complementing these generous terms with free training and support, making it easy for participating system integrators to keep up to date with evolving technologies and to implement them in the best possible way to deliver end customer benefits.

Prospective integrators are judged on their professional skills, competitiveness, quality procedures, proven expertise in target markets and financial stability.

These criteria have been established in order to guarantee the overall quality in the services provided to the end customer.

The new policy also creates a new level of specialist system integrators, with specific expertise in safety or motion control.

"Our system integrator programme has been designed to deliver winners all round," said the Schneider Electric System Integrator Alliance Manager, Navjot Dhillon: "End customers benefit from knowing that approved integrators have the competencies needed to execute projects efficiently, while the integrators enjoy easy access to know-how and support, as well as attractive discounts across the whole Schneider Electric product range.

As this range expands, there will also be excellent opportunities for opening up new areas of business.

For example, we have recently released Vijeo Citect, one of the first fruits of the Schneider Electric acquisition of Citect in 2006.

This adds leading edge SCADA capabilities to our portfolio of electrical distribution and control equipment, enabling our systems integrators to provide their customers with unsurpassed integrated solutions in industrial automation, HMI and SCADA.

"For Schneider Electric, the key benefits of the new System Integrator Policy, which we also share with our Alliance integrators include increased business and more satisfied end users.

Past achievements in these areas have been substantial, and we're confident that our new policy will help to further enhance the many benefits for all parties concerned".
