Eye-opening automation at SP Open Days

SP Technology has always believed that the best way for prospective clients to see the variety and quality of systems designed and manufactured is to tour our Dundee facility to see for themselves

It is this viewpoint that inspires SP to host our highly successful open days each year, with this year being no exception.

Over the years SP has welcomed guests from a wide range of companies from areas as diverse as food and drink, to pharmaceutical, and from all over the UK as well as from Ireland.

Upon arrival at SP visitors are met in reception and taken on a tour of the facilities.

The tour not only gives visitors the opportunity to see the various departments within SP but they will also have the chance to meet the staff as they go round, as it is a normal working day for the majority of the workforce.

In the workshop a range of systems designed and manufactured by SP will be on display for visitors to see, however because of confidentiality clauses with many of our clients we may have some of the units we are working on under wraps.

If they wish, visitors are able to arrange a meeting with a member of the SP Technology staff to go over any enquiries or processes they wish to discuss.

These meetings take place away from the main area in a private setting.

Refreshments are available throughout the day with a buffet at lunchtime.

As well as meeting SP Technology staff, visitors will be able to meet with representatives from a range of our suppliers who will complement the SP Technology systems with their own displays.

Suppliers showing this year will include ABB Robotics, Bosch Rexroth, Panasonic Lasers (Sunx), Abtech, RNA, Schunk and Weiss.
