SP presents freeze drying seminar

SP Industries has announced that its next Lyolearn web seminar will be entitled 'Process Analytical Technology (PAT) in Freeze Drying'.

Chaired by Stefan Schneid of the University of Erlangen (Germany), the scope of the web seminar will be to outline the importance of Quality by Design for Lyophilization and discuss conventional as well as novel approaches for the use of PAT tools in freeze drying operations.

Several PAT methods will be briefly discussed and special attention will be paid to MTM and Smart technology.

The web seminar will be held on 24 September 2009.

The monthly educational seminars devoted to freeze-drying topics are free and follow a 30-minute format for the presentations, with a QandA session immediately afterwards.
