Because the product is powered via the USB port during programming, you don't even have to wire it up to configure it; simply plug in the USB cable.
The SEM710 comes with an isolated input for both Pt100 and thermocouples while the display can be programmed to read in DegC, DegF or loop mA.
The new SEM710 can be supplied in either our ABS plastic SCH4 connection head or our new SCH15 316 stainless steel connection head.
The new SCH15 has been designed to coincide with the launch of the SEM710 and comes with M16 connections and is sealed to IP67.
Finished in highly polished stainless steel, this product is suitable for installation in various industries including, chemical, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, HVAC, machine and process.
The unique USB capability, together with the Status configuration software and internal menu options, allows the user to carry out a simple, yet comprehensive set up routine for the transmitters.
The free configuration software will read the product part number and its configuration automatically.
To change the configuration just takes seconds; simply type in the configuration you want and click the download icon.
Given the number of variations in sensor types and temperature ranges, stock holding can be expensive.
However, the universal input and USB versatility of these latest Status units allows one unit to meet the majority of requirements and, saves the user a significant amount of set up time.
The transmitter can be preset to failsafe in either Hi or Lo mode in the event of a sensor burn out.
If required, transmitters can easily be reset to factory default settings.
The Status proprietary galvanic isolation comes as standard on all units as well as the drift-free digital linearisation.
