Temp transmitters go from strength to
strength

Status Instruments, the UK's leading designer and producer of in head temperature transmitters, have launched their new SEM206 series of head mount transmitter

In-head temperature transmitters play a small, yet vital, role in many industrial processes; the new SEM206 series gives the user even more choice and ease of set up Strong market pressures on manufacturers to reduce size and cost, whilst improving performance and flexibility, have had a major impact over the last few years, with customers ever-looking for a low 'cost of ownership' product

Significant investment and ingenuity is now needed to stay ahead in this highly competitive market place, especially where products must meet the latest requirements for EMC compliance.

The new Status SEM206 range comes in two versions; the SEM206P and SEM206TC.

They are both programmable via a PC using the new Status USB loop configuration module and free Mconfig software.

The SEM206P accepts Pt100 inputs while the SEM206TC, a first for Status, accepts most common thermocouple inputs.

Both products provide the user with a 2 wire 4/20mA output.

The configuration software and internal menu options allow the user to carry out a simple, yet comprehensive set up routine for the transmitters.

The free configuration software will upload the product configuration automatically.

To change the configuration just takes seconds; simply type in the configuration you want and click the download Icon.

The transmitters can be preset to failsafe in either Hi or Lo mode in the event of a sensor burn out.

If required, transmitters can easily be reset to factory default settings.

Status proprietary galvanic isolation comes as standard on the thermocouple type as well as the drift-free digital linearisation.

The unprecedented 10 year warranty endorses the total Status commitment to the customer. Request a free brochure from Status Instruments ...
