Economy anti-spatter spray gets even tougher
TW, The Works economy weld spatter control treatment, has now been reformulated to perform better and safer: the new, stronger and more effective blend has been branded TW 2004
The Works range is also environmentally sound because it does not contain the health-damaging and carcinogenic chemical, dichloromethane, unlike many other spatter control products on the market.
"This machine marks a great improvement to The Works range," commented Graham Stevens, managing director of Stevens Industrial Services.
"The products are now even more environmentally friendly, do no damage to the ozone and are safer to use.
They can also be filled much more quickly and easily, which helps us satisfy the growing demand".
The new dual chamber system, which is now in operation, can fill both compressed air single chambers and compressed air dual chambers for a 'bag-on-valve' system within the aerosol.
Once emptied, The Works containers can now be safely disposed of in normal refuse.
This new machine uses 'under the cup' crimpers, making it suitable for use with compressed gases, such as those within The Works range.
These crimpers are equipped with a tandem crimp cylinder that ensures high crimp power even with low air pressure.
Product metering is controlled using mechanically operated product filling nozzles.
