Specialist environment and engineering consultancy firm Stats has started the New Year with promotions for two key members of staff following a successful 2007
Dr George Tuckwell is now a Director at the firm after joining four years ago to lead the geophysical survey and numerical modelling division He completed his PhD at the University of Southampton in 1998 before taking lectureship positions in geophysics at the University of Liverpool and then at Keele University
Additionally, Mark Steward has been promoted to Associate Director due to the continued success of the Stats regional geo-environmental and geo-technical services based at its Coventry office under his leadership.
He joined the company in 2006.
Commenting on the promotions, Stats Chairman Adrian Marsh says, "As a consultancy our greatest asset is our people and this announcement highlights our policy of rewarding consistently high levels of achievement.
Both Mark and George are key members of the team here at Stats".
The firm also has an office in St Albans.
