Stevens Weighing Group are introducing two new members of their renowned Vantage range of products aimed at applications in the food industry

Stevens Weighing Group are introducing two new members of their renowned Vantage range of products.

Both the Euro-weigher and Knee-weigher are robustly constructed from food grade stainless steel and feature clean smooth lines for ease of washing and cleaning.

Operational versatility and long term reliability are key features of both products.

The Euro-weigher is specifically designed for weighing 'euro standard' wheeled tubs used extensively in the food processing industry.

The bin to be weighed is simply wheeled into the frame of the Euro-weigher and then, via the built in locating brackets, raised into the weighing position using a simple yet robust pivot arm.

Individual tub identities can either be entered manually through the Vantage touch screen or via an optional bar code scanner.

The Knee-weigher is designed for weighing a wide range of bins, boxes and tubs with capacities up to 30 kg.

The optimised low working height minimises lifting and the surrounding bull-bars provide side protection for the weighing platform.

A comprehensive overload system further protects the water proof load cell and a simple yet effective push button on the side can be knee operated for rapid operation.

The PC based Vantage terminal has been specifically designed for today's food processing environments where accurate weight data plays a pivotal role in profitability and traceability.

Clear simple instructions are relayed to the operator via the touch screen and information can include both operational and health and safety information.

Both the Euro-weigher and the Knee-weigher can work as standalone units or as part of a fully integrated weighing and data management system, communicating with other Vantage based equipment through to a central PC.

This modular approach provides users with cost effective systems that can be extended as and when required.

Other Vantage based modules include recipe formulation, check weighers, stock control and average weight.
