The next Stocexpo Europe exhibition and conference will take place 30 March - 1 April 2010 at the Antwerp Expo.
Stocexpo Europe aims to encourage discussion and knowledge-sharing to enable safer, more efficient and more cost-effective management of terminals and tank farms.
The Stocexpo Europe conference will provide government representatives, industry experts and market analysts with an opportunity to explore and discuss the region's tank storage and terminal operations and look ahead to future plans for this marketing sector.
The conference is titled 'Achieving Operational Excellence While Managing Tanks and Terminals Effectively, Competitively and Cost Efficiently', and some of the key topics to be covered include: legislation for strategic stocks; European refining in a low-carbon world; measuring and managing carbon emissions in European chemical transport; preparing an underground cavern for transit; storage of crude; REACH - updates, implementation and the story so far; holistic safety in terminal applications; changing international crude oil and products; trade flows and the implications for storage requirements; security of European oil supply and implications for oil storage and infrastructure; large storage tank fires - an update on incident experience, research and the last fire study; and oil storage terminals - an attractive investment opportunity? The speaker line-up will include more than 25 of the industry's leading experts.
The event will provide an opportunity for the industry to meet and network with each, as well as gain valuable business contacts throughout the exhibition, in the conference and during the networking functions such as delegate lunches and the evening networking drinks reception.
More than 2000 people are expected to attend Stocexpo Europe.
