The Southern Manufacturing Show returns to Thorpe Park on February 8th and 9th 2006.

Over 400 companies from a wide range of engineering and manufacturing disciplines are already confirmed exhibitors at the show, now firmly established as the premier showcase for manufacturing and engineering in the south of England.

As with last year, Southern Manufacturing will again share its Surrey venue with the Southern Electronics Show 2006 - the unique co-location of events allowing visitors the opportunity to meet both electronic and mechanical engineering suppliers under one roof.

Following the success of the 2005 show, advance bookings indicate Southern Manufacturing and Electronics 2006 will be the biggest in its history and can again expect record attendance figures.

In addition to the impressive range of manufacturers exhibiting at the show, visitors can take advantage of the hugely popular programme of free-to-attend seminars supported by the Manufacturing Advisory Service - South East (MAS-SE).

Other highlights and features of Southern Manufacturing 2006 will include.

* Technology Trails, enabling visitors from the aerospace and defence, autosport/automotive, electronics, packaging, marine industries and pharmabio sectors to easily locate relevant exhibitors and so make the most efficient use of their time at the show.

* "Meet The Buyer", a unique opportunity for exhibitors and visitors to get face-to-face for fifteen minutes with buyers from major organisations looking to appoint new suppliers.

* Representation by trade associations, government agencies and business consultancies, providing information and support on all aspects of manufacturing business in the South-East.

Entry to Southern Manufacturing and Southern Electronics is free, with easy road access via junctions 11 or 13 of the M25, free parking and frequent courtesy coach transfers from Staines railway station.

Visitor pre-registration for the event and seminars, along with information on the "Meet The Buyer" scheme, will be available from November online.

So make a date with Southern Manufacturing 2006, an event no buyer or engineering professional from manufacturing industries should miss.
