RWTH-Aachen University and Servo-Robot have come to an agreement to promote the applications of advanced vision and information technology in the joining automation field (welding)

The ISF-Welding and Joining Institute at RWTH-Aachen University and Servo-Robot have come to an agreement to promote the applications of advanced vision and information technology in the joining automation field The objective is to provide technical services to European industries in the field of automated joining technologies

Prof Dilthey, Director of the very famous ISF-Welding and Joining Institute at RWTH-Aachen University visited the Servo-Robot headquarters on 8 September, and signed the agreement with Jean-Paul Boillot, Chairman and CEO of Servo-Robot Group.

The Institute will provide facilities for testing and demonstrations of advanced laser and arc welding processes.

This co-operation will also include R and D programmes and highly qualified personnel training to assist the industry in the applications of Servo-Robot and ISF techniques and know-how.
