Staubli robotics, a major supplier on the robotics market with a complete range of robots of all sizes has announced the signing of a partner agreement with Cognex Corporation, leading world supplier of machine vision systems and industrial identification.

This agreement aims to promote automated solutions equipped with vision systems using Cognex products.

This partnership will allow our clients to benefit from the coming together of two market leading products, reputed for their performance, flexibility, ruggedness and their ease of use.

Machine vision is used in a growing number of robotic applications and allows businesses of all sizes to achieve significantly increased productivity, making them more competitive on their markets.

Cognex and Staubli have a large international presence serving clients all over the world.

Patrice Denizard, Director of Sales for Cognex in France, said; "This agreement formalises years of casual cooperation and is an important step in our robotic strategy.

It complements several initiatives taken in InSight product development, notably Patmax, an industry-leading geometric pattern matching software for location of form and form recognition, supported by the remote head version of the InSight 5000 series which is compatible with standard robotic cables and connections.
