The SY031 portable load meter from Synectic Design is the ideal tool for calibration engineers, or anyone who requires an instrument to accurately take measurements from a variety of transducers.

The devices that the SY031 can link to include load cells, strain gauges and pressure transducers.

The SY031 can obtain measurements from virtually any transducer which takes bridge measurements.

The SY031 is available with a single set-up input channel or 16 set-up channels.

Each channel can be calibrated for different transducers, ranges and sensitivities, therefore making it an ideal calibration tool.

Major features of the SY031 portable load meter include: a robust and weather resistant deign (IP65 rating), data entry via a sealed 5 button membrane keypad and a 40 hour battery life - twice as long as most competitors.

The SY031 provides the high technical specification that customers accept as standard with Synectic Design products.

Specification highlights include: a span of +/-3.5mV/V, a non-linearity accuracy of 0.007% over the full scale, a peak hold of 160msec, and a thermal drift of less than 50ppm/C.

Options available with the SY031 now include RS232 data output, not offered by competing products.

Other options include: calibration methods, up to 16 set-up channels, a choice of connectors and a protective holster.

Synectic Design has been designing and manufacturing industrial process control and measurement instrumentation and systems since 1993 and are considered as leaders in the process electronics industry.
