Digital amplifiers from Synectic Design

In environments where high voltages are a hazard, the loop powered indicator can be used to display any parameters or measurements.
Since it only requires a voltage as low as 3Vdc, this can be obtained from the loop when input devices are connected to the unit.
Most of the parameters needed for the display are pre-programmed and any other adjustments to suit particular applications can be made using the setting buttons on the indicator prior to usage.
The unit has an 18mm high 6 digit LED display, housed in a wall mountable plastic casing.
Two versions of the SY045 are available, firstly the ghost version which runs off an excitation voltage provided by a loadcell excitation, secondly the loop powered version which requires a 4-20mA input.
The SY045 has a simple calibration facility where settings are stored in non-volatile memory, helping to provide exceptional high stability.
Currently being used by Kingspan Building Products, the SY045 is used to produce a batch control system with an information display at critical points.
The SY045 provides a local display of the tank contents, which is independent of the process control system as it takes the measurement and power directly from the loadcell, reducing cabling and increasing safety as an indication of tank level is available even if the system loses power.
