Tapflo dampeners smooth the flow
A specially designed pulsation dampener can be fitted to any of the range of air diaphragm pumps from Tapflo: this is the most efficient way to remove pressure variations on the discharge of a pump
A specially designed pulsation dampener can be fitted to any of the extensive range of air diaphragm pumps from Tapflo An active pulsation dampener is the most efficient way to remove pressure variations on the discharge of a pump and is far more effective than conventional bladder systems that are often used

New pump system designed for hazardous areas
A new barrier pump has been produced by Tapflo UK to solve the potential dangers of pumping extremely hazardous materials
The Tapflo system works actively with compressed air and a diaphragm that automatically sets the correct pressure to minimise the pulsation.
When the liquid pressure falls in the piping system, the pulsation dampener supplies extra pressure to the discharge between the pump strokes by displacing liquid by means of diaphragm movement.
This pumping action created by the dampener, decreases the pressure variations and hence reduces the pulsation of the pumped material.
Tapflo dampeners are highly suitable for all types of media but especially on products that are shear sensitive or where production requires a particularly smooth flow such as in cosmetic and chocolate manufacturing using jacketed polished stainless steel units.
