A TAS Engineering Consultants product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team May 23, 2008

TAS Engineering Consultants, based in North East England, has recently won three new clients within the oil, gas and petrochemical sector, with projects worth in excess of GBP 4million

This boost in the TAS workload has led to the creation of four new engineering vacancies within the engineering teams.

The three new multinational client projects include Safety Integrity Level (S.I.L) Implementation to IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 standards, Tank Farm Automation Design and Electrical Detail Design with Switchgear Replacement: these are typical of the expertise offered by TAS on current projects: the new work is spread throughout the UK.

The new engineering roles created are for:.

1) Head of Instrument, Control and Automation.

2) Principal Electrical Engineer.

3) Instrument Control and Automation Engineer.

4) Electrical Design Engineer.

John Maplesden, TAS Managing Director, commented: "I am over the moon with the increase in awareness of the value of our services, which has led to the winning of these new projects, and I would like to encourage any engineers who may be interested in joining our team to contact us immediately.

These new appointments will strengthen our current engineering and senior management team, helping TAS Engineering to grow, and satisfy the growing regional and national demand for our services".
