The new Barksdale UQS7 liquid flow switch/transmitter distributed by Techniquip offers enhanced levels of performance and safety in flow critical applications Designed for use with water and water based-liquids this new flow device utilises ultrasonic technology

The flow signal is converted using the latest microprocessors providing an easy to read 12mm LED display.

Accuracy is better than 2% of flow and response speed better than 500 milliseconds.

The UQS7 provides two fully programmable switch contacts for monitoring high and low flow conditions, together with an analogue 4 - 20mA output for remote indication and control.

Installation and commissioning is quick and easy.

Alarms and analogue output are programmed via a 3 button keyboard.

The 4 - 20mA signal span can be adjusted from 25 - 100% of the instrument range.

The unit features permanent self-diagnostics, with the ability to "flag-up" errors immediately.

Available in connection sizes from 0.75'' to 2'' and flows from 40 cc/min to 350 l/min with a pressure rating of 25 Bar, the UQS7 offers an affordable instrument for a multitude of applications from cooling water systems in medical applications to measuring flow of leachate in land fill sites.
