This shunt type, glass tube variable area flowmeter offers the most cost-effective method of accurate fluid flow measurement in both gases and liquids in larger diameter pipes, up to 200mm Manufactured by Influx Measurements and distributed by Techniquip, the Deltaflux shunt type flow meter uses the same technique of electronically monitoring the position of the float in the glass tube, using the same field sensor as that tried and tested in the Influx Reflux models

The two wire 4-20mA loop 24vdc powered output allows remote transmission of flow rate, for use in discrete indicator, controller, SCADA and BMS systems.

Flow ranges available from 2 m3/hr water and 20 Nm3/hr Air in a 38mm pipe, or up to 1000 m3/hr H20 and 7000 Nm3/hr Air in a 200mm pipe.The loop-powered transmitter is available with EEXia (ATEX) certification for use in hazardous areas.

Pressure rating up to 20 bar is standard.

The float is still visible as in a conventional glass tube variable area flowmeter, retaining the normal flow indication often preferred by site operators.

The Deltaflux flow transmitter brings the advantages and low cost of variable area technology into modern electronic control systems.
