The UK Profibus Group has finalised the agenda for the Profibus International Conference that will take place on June 22 and 23 at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire.
Featuring a comprehensive educational programme covering latest developments in Profibus technology including PROFInet, PROFIsafe, PROFIdrive and Profibus PA, the Conference will consist of 3 parallel sessions from hands-on Primers through to Master Classes for the more advanced users.
The event starts at 9.00 am on Tuesday 22nd June with a Keynote Address from George Turnbull of Open Automation and Control, after which the programme splits into the 3 streams.
Presentation times will be carefully planned and controlled to allow delegates to switch between streams and individual presentations.
Stream 1 will address 6 key themes - Overview, Process and Asset Management, Advanced Communications Technology, Motion Control, Safety and PROFInet - with applications spread over the two days.
Streams 2 and 3, the Hands-on Primers and the Master Classes, will be presented twice over the two days to allow everyone a good chance to hear the presentations of their choice.
Supported by an exhibition, interactive displays and technology demonstrations from the UK Profibus Competence Centre, the two day event is a must for engineers, managers, applications, technical support and sales personnel involved in design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of factory and process automation components and systems.
Situated in Shakespeare Country, the event will offer opportunities for delegates and partners to sample the delights of the region.
For delegates attending the two full days, accommodation has been arranged in nearby Stratford upon Avon and a gala dinner is planned at Warwick Castle - recently voted the UK's top historic castle attraction - where delegates will be able to participate in The Kingmakers Feast in honour of its former owner, the infamous 'Kingmaker' Sir Richard Neville.
The two day package including Conference, 4-star accommodation and the Feast is priced at just GBP388 + VAT.
For those arriving the night before - Midsummer Night! - for just GBP39 extra there is the opportunity to join in a special Shakespeare Evening featuring a preview performance of King Lear at the RSC with a pre-theatre dinner and post-theatre dessert at the nearby Coconut Lagoon and Georgetown restaurants.
Day Delegate packages are available for just GBP120 + VAT per day or GBP195 + VAT for two days, including all day-time refreshments.
Early booking is strongly recommended for this event as places are strictly limited and are offered strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bookings can be made on line via the web site.
