There are still a few places available on the Profibus courses scheduled for November, to be presented at the Profibus International Competence Centre at Manchester Metropolitan University

The courses are: Basic PLC Programming Course, on 5 and 6 November 07, which is a two-day course designed for those with no previous programming experience.

It covers basic ladder and function block programming and leads on to the Certified Open-PLC Engineer Course.

From 7-9 November there follows the Certified Open-PLC Engineer Training, which is a 3 day course covering Open-PLC programming using the international standard IEC 61131-3.

The course is designed for Engineers and Technicians who want to gain a recognised qualification in open-PLC programming using IEC 61131-3.

The course is suitable for experienced programmers who wish to move to IEC 61131-3 compliant systems.

The courses can be taken separately or together, subject to the candidate's experience and the availability of places.

To register please check availability with Ann Squirrell.
