Thames Side-Maywood has become the worldwide distributor of the Mobileyes monitoring service for vessel weighing applications, which sends phone messages to warn of any alerts or alarm points

Mobileyes utilises patented wireless GSM technology to enable remote monitoring of all linked vessels using any internet web browser or WAP mobile phone No PC software is required

In addition, Mobileyes sends emails, faxes or SMS text messages to any mobile phone when specified alert situations occur.

Mobileyes monitoring units are installed on site and linked to the load cell data management system.

The monitoring units communicate with a dedicated, password protected website via SMS text messaging, using a standard SIM card.

The Mobileyes web monitor then generates management reports in the form of dynamic web pages, which can be viewed via a PC or WAP phone from anywhere in the world.

The website also enables alert parameters to be set, and the Mobileyes units will contact specified phones and e-mail addresses when these are met.

For example, a unit can send a text message warning to a mobile phone when there is a low level in a silo, or if there is a danger of overfill.

It will also send a further text message once action has been taken and the situation is no longer a concern.

The Mobileyes website provides near real-time displays of vessel contents.

Two- way communication allows the user to individually poll each Mobileyes site to obtain up-to-date information.
