An extensive library of mathematical functions is also included; a library that can be extended with the users own functions.
The SampleManager 2002 newly enhanced Selection Criteria function offers users a highly graphical and intuitive interface from which to explore, query, and view subsets of sample data filtered from multiple tables within the LIMS database.
This dynamic facility enables customers to select and display more meaningful groups of data from which more informed decisions can be made.
Further new developments include a highly flexible SampleManager tabular reporting tool and user login authentication using LDAP (Lightweight Data Access Protocol) and Windows NT functionality.
Another enhancement of SampleManager 2002 is new 'Most Recently Used' functionality that provides users with single mouse-click access to most recently used selections in a prompt field, most recently used items (e.g a sample or analysis) or most recently used commands (e.g modify batches or view tests).
Such new features have been designed to offer significant time savings for end users in a solution that is already acknowledged as one of the most user-friendly LIMS available.
With an installed base of over 1,100 systems and around 45,000 daily users worldwide, SampleManager is one of the most established and industrially robust LIMS on the market.
The solution is designed to support laboratory operations and integrate those operations into the corporate enterprise.
Industries served include manufacturing, chemicals and process, pharmaceutical, food and beverages, water, environmental and biotechnology. Request a free brochure from Thermo Fisher Scientific (Informatics) ...
