Several of the Thermo instruments, including the Nicolet 6700 FT-IR spectrometer will be on display during the day to demonstrate the operational techniques.
Throughout the day, participants will also have the opportunity to have one-on-one discussions, as well as hands-on time with experts from Thermo.
This comprehensive one-day course will be taking place at 22 locations throughout the USA between September 2006 and November 2006.
It will provide scientists with a better understanding of molecular techniques, for example Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR), Infrared (IR) Microscopy, Raman, Near Infrared (NIR) and MicrobeamXRF.
Additionally participants will learn how to respond to challenges faced when using these techniques.
The seminar has been designed to give scientists the opportunity to learn how the Thermo spectroscopic technologies can help them solve everyday and challenging problems as well as to maximise productivity in the laboratory.
