New Maxseal all stainless steel filter
regulator
Maxseal has introduced of the IFR3 and IFR4, a range of fully stainless steel filter regulators to sit along side its range of solenoid valves, pilot valves and spool valves
Maxseal, part of Thompson Valves in Poole, UK, has announced the introduction of the IFR3 and IFR4, a range of fully stainless steel filter regulators to sit along side its range of solenoid valves, pilot valves and spool valves Synonymous with quality, the new Maxseal IFR3 and IFR4 series of filter regulators are designed to withstand the harshest environments and yet provide highly accurate pressure regulation and control

The 316 stainless steel housing and filter assembly combined with carefully selected seal and diaphragm materials make the IFR3 and IFR4 series compatible with sour gas and is perfectly suited to the harshest offshore and onshore environments.
With a temperature range specification of -50 to +90C, the standard unit provides cost effectiveness and high performance.
With 0.25'' and 0.5'' ports and an optimised flow path, accurate set pressure can be obtained at high flow rates making this a highly attractive option when pressure drop off cannot be tolerated.
The IFR3 and IFR4 can also be supplied to meet all NACE standard requirements for corrosive resistance.
The IFR3 and IFR4 series is designed to provide instrument quality air to valves, actuators, transmitters, transducers, valve positioners, air cylinders, and a wide range of pneumatic control systems.
Applications include: petrochemical processing, both on and offshore; pulp and paper; pharmaceutical processing; pollution control; wastewater treatment and research projects.
Says Darren Sheppard, Thompson Valves sales director: "The introduction of a filter regulator series is just the latest in a demanding product development programme.
Following the enormous success of the Maxseal IC03 dual certified solenoid valve, released to the market in 2005, Maxseal continues to develop new products in line with market requirements".
