Mtec 2003, The National Sensors, Measurement and Instrumentation show, proved the value of an event with long-term continuity of name, venue, date and focus: Mtec 2004 is on 11/12 February 2004

Mtec 2003, The Trident Exhibition National Sensors, Measurement and Instrumentation show, once again proved the value of an event with long-term continuity of name, venue, date and focus Comments from this year's exhibitors testified to this: 'Fantastic Show' said Tony Ingham of Sensor Technology, while Stuart Cresswell of Campbell Scientific Ltd said "it's the best show we've done"

Michael Hole, of Keller (UK) Ltd and Ken West from Fluke (UK) Ltd, were positive about the visitors saying 'we had good quality leads'.

Not only were the visitors the right quality, the numbers were also up on last year, attracting over 3,350 people - people with problems to solve, projects to discuss and the power to sign on the line.

Mtec 2004, will build on this year's success and takes place on February 11th and 12th, in Hall 11 at the NEC.

Once again it is co-located with seven other focussed events enabling busy industrialists to maximise the value of their visit.

Each show, (the others are, Machine Building, IPOT and Machine Vision, E.I.D., Practical Vacuum, 3C's and the Advanstar Medical Device Technology) will be promoted individually to a specific target audience in the appropriate technical journals, creating a far-reaching promotional campaign.

Visitors to Mtec 2004, can first involve themselves with the sensing, measurement and instrumentation components of a system and then progress to Industrial Networks, the dedicated section of the event where they can concentrate on proprietary systems, open systems and the industrial use of the Ethernet.

This section is supported by the journal "Industrial Networking and Open Control".

There will be free seminars at the Industrial Networks Technology Centre, provided by the AS-I, the Profibus Group and the Open Devicenet Vendor Association.

Mtec 2004 is also once again supported by GAMBICA, the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE), the Institute of Measurement and Control (InstMC) and The Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society (ISA).

In addition there is a Technology Transfer Zone, which is supported by the Intersect Faraday Partnership, where visitors will be able to see the latest technological developments from universities.

Directors, Senior Managers, Engineers, Technologists and Scientists from industrial sectors such as Aerospace and Defence through to Transport, will not only be able to see sensors but actuators, analysers, calibrators, controls and controllers, data acquisition, industrial networking, instrumentation, quality assurance, signal conditioning and test and inspection.

Don't miss the opportunity to raise your profile at the one pivotal event in the UK industrial calendar, either as an exhibitor or visitor.
