'We booked immediately for 2004!' This was the comment of David Chapman of Igus, following Machine Building 2003, the exhibition for Machine Building, Automation and Design.

This annual Trident exhibition event is scheduled to run once again at the NEC, Birmingham on Feb 11 and 12, 2004.

Machine Building brings together component suppliers, subsystem suppliers and manufacturers of complete 'turnkey' systems for 2 days of selling, networking and exchanging ideas, and so is a must if you are one of these, as either an exhibitor or visitor.

First showcased in 2003, the Robotics Demonstration Area within the Machine Building Exhibition, proved so popular that it is being developed further for 2004.

The feature provides an opportunity to demonstrate in a 'live' environment, working industrial robots.

Planned new for 2004 will be the Focus on Fastenings feature area.

This will quite literally be the showcase for the 'nuts and bolts' of industry - the myriad ancillary products not only pertinent to Machine Building but across the entire spectrum of industry.

This should prove very constructive, and provide a further link into the 7 other individually focussed events that Machine Building shares the NEC with on those 2 February days.

Just a day away from a busy industrialist's desk will provide them with access to IPOT and Machine Vision, Mtec, (Sensors, Measurement and Instrumentation), EID (Electronic Information Displays), 3C, and Practical Vacuum, all from Trident, and also the Advanstar MDT - Medical Device Technology.

Visit the website for further information, and for the opportunity to pre-register: as Keith Gardener from Weiss UK Ltd stated ' Machine Building 2003 marked an important milestone for us and we will definitely make it an annual event' - make sure you join them.
