ABB, Fanuc Robotics and Kawasaki Robotics have confirmed they will take part in the Machine Building BARA supported Robotics Demonstration area at the NEC Exhibition next month, from 16th to 17th February.

The Robotics Demonstration Area will feature working industrial robots in a 'live' environment, with the stands adjacent to it having a key focus on robotics.

Located at the heart of the exhibition, the Robotics Demonstration Area appeals to the majority of visitors from not only Machine Building but also from the other co-located shows, as it is both interesting and entertaining.

ABB (stand C12) is a world - leader in robot based automation and was the first company to install 125,000 robots world-wide.

ABB provides a comprehensive range of powerful and adaptable robots designed to meet their customers automated machine building needs, plus ABB robots are very easy to integrate and extremely cost effective.

Kawasaki Robotics UK (stand RO1) are also a world leader in robotic automation and will be presenting the new FD71 Controller.

This unit operates on single phase 240 volts and can run robot arms up to 6KG.

The compact controller is small enough to be installed within an automated machine enclosure important for OEM and system builders.

Visit their stand to see the latest Kawasaki products and technology.

Exhibiting its latest 'Golfing demonstrator', Fanuc Robotics (stand RO3) will illustrate the flexibility, accuracy, repeatability and intelligence available throughout its product range.

With over 75 robots in its product line up, capable of handling payloads from 3kg to 600kg, Fanuc Robotics is able to provide a solution for most handling requirements.

Machine Building has established itself as the UK's premier exhibition for machine building, automation and design and brings together component suppliers, subsystem suppliers and manufacturers of complete 'turnkey' systems for two days of selling, networking, and exchanging ideas.

The event is industry's first opportunity in the year to savour what's new and emerging and has the added bonus of being co- located with 8 other focused manufacturing events.

These include Mtec - sensors measurement and instrumentation, IPOT - image processing and optical technology and Machine Vision - the UK's leading vision event plus a new feature area within Machine Building: PneuMotion - air at work dedicated to compressed and pneumatics.
