New Drives and Motion Control Systems exhibition
Trident Exhibitions is pleased to announce 'Drives and Motion Control Systems', an exciting new addition to their range of co-located exhibitions at the NEC, Birmingham, February 15th and 16th, 2006
Trident Exhibitions is pleased to announce Drives and Motion Control Systems, an exciting new addition to their highly successful range of co-located exhibitions happening at the NEC, Birmingham, February 15th and 16th, 2006.
After writing to numerous companies to ask their opinion of whether a dedicated drives, motors and controls exhibition should take place at the NEC in February 2006 the response was unanimous - yes there should! Within a week of contacting these companies more than 10% had responded and 95% of those responded positively with opinions ranging from the extremely enthusiastic to the cautiously optimistic; "Hooray!! Get on with it.
Make sure it is next to Mtec!" "We think this is an excellent idea - combining a focussed drives event alongside the existing family of shows.
We would almost certainly support such a venture." The idea was also discussed with a number of other interested parties - some face to face, some on the telephone and the majority were also in favour.
Consequently 'Drives and Motion Control Systems' is launched and will occupy space alongside several well-established and tightly focused existing exhibitions including Machine Building and Automation and Mtec - Sensors, Measurement and Instrumentation.
These already attract visitors with an interest in motors and drives; robotics; pneumatics; sensors; gears, brakes and clutches; valves; fieldbuses; and test and measurement.
In addition to these are 6 other tightly focused manufacturing events * Industrial Networks for Fieldbus and Open Systems.
* PneuMotion - air at work.
* Machine Vision.
* IPOT - Image Processing and Optical Technology.
* Practical Vacuum and Semiconductor Processing.
* EID - Electronic Information Displays.
These exhibitions appeal to visitors because of their synergy.
Research shows that engineers and buyers can justify their visit because they can see a range of relevant products.
They can seek to solve their entire project and application needs in just one outing, yet visiting two, three or even four specialist shows, all under one roof.
The 2005 shows were very successful for all involved and saw over 6,600 attendees visit halls 11 and 12 of the NEC - an 11% increase on 2004.
With the addition of Drives and Motion Control Systems the 2006 shows look to increase further on this success.
