Trident Exhibitions would like to say a big thank-you to all visitors and exhibitors at their NEC Exhibitions in February, who returned questionnaires and raised over GBP650 for Red Nose Day

Over GBP650 was raised for Red Nose Day by Trident visitors and exhibitors Trident Exhibitions would like to say a big thank-you to all visitors and exhibitors of the Mtec, IPOT, Machine Vision, Machine Building, PneuMotion, Practical Vacuum and EID exhibitions who returned questionnaires on the events held at the NEC in February

The overwhelming response has raised over GBP650 for the 2005 Red Nose Day appeal.

More than 6,500 questionnaires were posted out as part of Tridents ongoing research to discover how the shows were received and to help develop in the future.

As a token of Tridents appreciation for their assistance a one pound donation was to be given to the 2005 Red nose Day appeal for each completed questionnaire returned.

With a total of 655 questionnaires returned (an 11% response) this has resulted in a donation of GBP655! Although all visitor questionnaires were anonymous, a high percentage of responses were very positive and productive, including comments such as.

"Very well organised and a pleasure to attend".

"Enjoyable and informative".

"Very good mix of subjects in the combined shows".

"I found the type of suppliers that I was looking for.

Overall a successful event".

"Very good exhibition.

Seeing a demonstration gives a better idea of capabilities".

"Well organised and interesting.

The other exhibitions at the same time are an excellent idea".

In turn there were some equally encouraging comments from a number of exhibitors including.

"This years show was better than ever, there was a real genuine buzz of activity and interest.

It's been a long time since I experienced that, in fact I had almost forgotten what it felt like.

It was a truly worthwhile exhibition, thanks to all the team at Trident for doing a great job." Mike Hole, Commercial Director, Keller (UK) (Exhibiting at Mtec).

"The show generated huge interest in our products.

It was a great success." Michael Bradley, Robotunits (UK) (Exhibiting at Machine Building).

These national exhibitions held at the NEC each February are the industry's first opportunity in the year to savour what's new and emerging and include.

* IPOT - Image Processing and Optical Technology.

* Machine Vision.

* Practical Vacuum incorporating Semiconductor Processing.

* EID - Electronic Information Displays.

The next events will take place on 15th and 16th February 2006 and will also see the launch of a new exhibition "Drives and Motion Control Systems".
