The new and updated Mtec 2006 show website is now live, and features a host of information on the February 2006 event for both visitors and exhibitors alike

The new and updated Mtec 2006 show website is now live, and features a host of information on the event for both visitors and exhibitors alike The newly updated website includes a floorplan, an up to date list of exhibitors, an overview of what industry areas will be featured at the exhibition, information on exhibiting at and visiting the event plus links to the websites of all the other co-located exhibitions also taking place at the NEC on 15th and 16th February 2006

It also features comments from exhibitors and visitors plus statistics from the 2005 shows.

The website will be regularly updated with details of the free workshops and seminars to be held at the event by the Profibus Group, AS-i Expert Alliance, the ISA, the BSSM and NPL ,plus any other developments taking place to the event.

Online pre-registration will "go live" on the site from the end of October but in the meantime to register your interest in visiting simply email your details Trident Exhibitions (indicating that you would like to visit Mtec) and tickets will be sent you nearer the time.

Mtec remains the only UK national showcase for sensors and systems - an event with long-term continuity of name, venue, date and focus.

The 2006 event will also feature the long-running Industrial Networks for Fieldbus and Open Systems, a dedicated section of the event where visitors can compare and evaluate proprietary systems, open systems and the industrial use of Ethernet.

Mtec and Industrial Networks will of course again be co-located with 7 other focused manufacturing events including Machine Building and Automation; PneuMotion - air at work; Drives and Motion Control Systems (new for 2006!); Machine vision; IPOT - Image Processing and Optical Technology; Displays Technology; Practical Vacuum.

This provides the visitor with an unrivalled access to the latest technology across a variety of disciplines and all under one roof! Prior to the next Mtec show will be the launch of Instrumentation South - an addition to the successful range of regional sensors, measurement, instrumentation and data acquisition events held across the UK.

Instrumentation South will be held on the 5th and 6th October 2005 at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium, Reading.
