Trident are pleased to report that the recent Mtec-Sensors, Measurement and Instrumentation exhibition, featuring Industrial Networks for Fieldbus and Open Systems was a success for all involved

Trident Exhibitions are pleased to report that the recent Mtec-Sensors, Measurement and Instrumentation exhibition featuring Industrial Networks for Fieldbus and Open Systems, which took place at the NEC on 15th and 16th February, was a success for all involved Co-located with 9 other focused industrial events including Machine Building and Automation, PneuMotion, Drives and Motion Control Systems, IPOT- imaging, photonics and optical technology, Machine Vision, Displays Technology and Practical Vacuum, the two-day event attracted more than 5,500 visitors

Feedback from exhibitors has been very positive with comments such as "Best Mtec ever!": John Tyrell, Ixthus Instrumentation.

The Mtec and Industrial Networks Show Director Louisa Pridham was in turn very pleased with the two day event, 'I am thrilled with how Mtec went this year; it certainly remains the UK's vital national showcase for sensors and systems and attracts the type of visitors the exhibitors want to see.

I am so pleased with the high level of genuinely positive feedback I have received from exhibitors and visitors alike and can only feel the 2007 shows will continue to go from strength to strength'.

This is reinforced by the re-bookings for the 2007 shows, which are already well underway - in fact more than 65% of space has already been sold in the two weeks since the 2006 show ended! Companies who have already reserved their stands for 2007 include National Instruments, HBM United Kingdom, Michell Instruments, R.D.P Electronics, Huba Control, Festo, Raytek UK, Hirschmann Electronics, Renishaw and WIKA Instruments.

Trident is also pleased to announce details of the organisations holding the free programme of workshops and presentations at Mtec and Industrial Networks.

Those who have already confirmed so far include: the Profibus Group, the ASi Expert Alliance and the Instrumentation, Systems and Automation society (ISA).

Further details of these workshops and presentations will be released later in the year.

The 2007 exhibitions will held in halls 10, 11 and 12 of the NEC on 14th and 15th February co-located with Tridents 7 other focused industrial events and of course continuing to run alongside Octo Media, Medical Device Technology and 3C events, which Trident are pleased to continue to co- locate with.
