Instrumentation South 'Quality outshines quantity'

A Trident Exhibitions product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Oct 12, 2007

This was the comment from Richard O'Leary of Bronkhorst UK, an exhibitor at Instrumentation South 2007, after the recent show at Reading

The recent Instrumentation South exhibition, organised by Trident Exhibitions, took place at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium, Reading on October 3rd and 4th 2007.

Supporting the growing trend towards highly focussed regional shows, this event proved very popular with exhibitors and visitors alike and overall attendance was in excess of 340 visitors from throughout the UK and overseas.

With over 60 exhibitors showing and demonstrating test, measurement, data acquisition, control instrumentation, displays technology systems and equipment, there was encouraging feedback from many companies.

Examples of comments were:.

'Super venue, good location, lots of good leads, catering facilities excellent and good communications' - Fred Sharp, Endevco UK.

'Super venue with some good leads' - Glen Gilmour, PR Electronics.

There is a ground swell of opinion in support of the smaller more targeted events, which provide exposure from national and international organisations, but at local level.

With working time at a premium, it is sometimes becoming difficult to justify the time and cost of a full day out of the office to attend a national exhibition.

Whereas, a local event can serve the same purpose at much less cost and time to the visitor.

The Instrumentation Series of Regional Exhibitions also includes Instrumentation North at the Elland Road Stadium, Leeds, 9 - 10 April 2008, and Instrumentation Scotland and Offshore Systems, at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, 3 - 4 September 2008.
