Versatile corrosion resistant flowmeter

The FT2 flowmeter system from Titan Enterprises gives the OEM or machine builder the ultimate in connection flexibility, in a low cost corrosion resistant flowmeter body

The FT2 flowmeter system from Titan Enterprises gives the OEM or machine builder the ultimate in connection flexibility, in a low cost corrosion resistant flowmeter body At the heart is a rugged, low cost chemically resistant flow sensor, suitable for a 20:1 flow range between 0.01 to 160Lpm

Around this, up and downstream process fittings can be designed to suit the required installation position - with threads, hose barbs, fitted support brackets or bulkhead/tank connections.

These metal or plastic fittings are clipped in position on the meter body and sealed with an O-ring, available in various materials.

The sensor electrical connection can be via moulded in terminals, socket or flying lead.

The FT2 is rated at 15bar and can be used for liquid temperatures up to 125C: the meter body is PPS and the low inertia flow turbine is PVDF, running on inert sapphire bearings.

Two styles of non contact sensor are available, using either optical or Hall effect techniques to provide the electronic pulse output.

Both work from low voltage DC supplies, and provide a pulse frequency proportional to flow, typically over a 20:1 operational flow range: all meters are supplied with a traceable calibration certificate.

Alternatively a site adjustable flow switch output can be provided directly from the sensor, which can optionally be factory pre-set and sealed. Request a free brochure from Titan Enterprises ...
