Top Control is pleased to announce the addition of two new training classes to their 2006 spring calendar: Loop Tuning and an Introduction to Process Control!
Top Control is pleased to announce the addition of two new training classes to their 2006 spring calendar 1) The LT-110-1 PID loop tuning course If you are involved in diagnosing control-related problems or responsible for increasing loop performance, this full day class will teach you how to tune simple loops with simple methods (by hand) and also how to recognize faulty loops

2) The PC-600-2 Introduction to Instrumentation and Process Control - basics for non -specialists.
Managers, supervisors, superintendents, production managers, engineers concerned with the performance of processes will appreciate the importance of process control and the new tools available to achieve objectives of today and meet the challenges of tomorrow.
This two day class has the objectives:.
* Acquire an overview of process control systems.
* Develop important concepts like: open and closed loops, feedback, PID controllers, transmitters, pneumatic valves, performance, controller modes, etc.
* Set industrial process control in a plant context .
* Distinguish the role and functions of equipment .
* Enumerate different goals for a control loop and identify the main goal for some loops .
* Enumerate advantages of cascade and feedforward control .
* Recognize faulty loops .
The class will be held in Clearwater, Florida on November 28-29, 2006.
