Around April 2008 Top Control in Canada will run various training courses, seminars and workshops on control loop tuning, optimisation and alarm management

31st March 2008 at the Holiday Inn Select, Mississauga, Ontario: this is our chosen location to hold a 1 day "Loop Tuning seminar" (LT-110-1) This seminar will help you tune loops by hand and enable you to recognize faulty loops

For those of you involved in diagnosing control-related problems, and responsible for increasing loop performance we also have at the same location from April 1st to 3rd 2008, the workshop: "Troubleshooting and Control loop tuning" ME-200-3.

This workshop will allow you to improve the performance of PID-based control systems.

You will learn how to analyse loops, find problems, and determine the proper process model.

You will also learn appropriate methods of tuning controllers based on the type of process, the desired performance, and the significance of interacting loops.

You will learn how to choose the proper controller type.

Also, you will learn how to draw the maximum benefits from existing equipment by optimizing the control loop.

8-10 April 2008 at the Moncton New Brunswick: Top Control present "Seminar on modern control methods" SE-100-3.

This three day seminar will permit you to review traditional control techniques and will allow you to explore new optimisation methods and allow you to evaluate which techniques are best suited to increase plant productivity.

29-30 April 2008 in Halifax, Nova Scotia: Top Control will hold the "Alarm Management Systems Specialist" AMSS-2 workshop.
