Rail and process markets for Transmitton
Fast-track software control company Transmitton has demonstrated its commitment to continued expansion in a highly competitive marketplace by announcing two key appointments within its sales team
Ron Foster joined the company as Account Manager - Process Sales last month and he will be developing the company sales in process markets within the UK, and across Europe Eddy Turnock, who has already notched up over eight years experience of selling Transmitton solutions to the rail industry, has been appointed Director - Transport Sales and will lead the sales drive in the rail and associated transportation sectors

Ron, who gained a Physics degree at Imperial College, London and is a Chartered Engineer, has focused on sales account management in the process control, buildings control and energy management markets, working for Yokogawa and Trend Control Systems in similar roles.
Eddy has already played a key role in winning major contracts for Transmitton, including work on the Jubilee Line Extension, Docklands Light Railway and East Coast Mainline, as well as introducing Traction Power Control Solutions into Railtrack.
He has also been instrumental in promoting new developments, such as Integrated Station Management and Customer Information Systems (ISM and CIS) and Network Management Systems (NMS).
And his new role will involve developing further business opportunities in this growing market area.
A staunch football fan and Manchester United supporter, Eddy is married with two children.
