Integrated control and asset management solutions supplier Transmitton has appointed Richard Shaw as UK and Ireland sales engineer for ADT Rail Systems condition monitoring equipment Richard, aged 34, joins Fleetwood-based ADT Rail Systems from Accurate Controls in Dorset, with an impressive track record of working in many different industries including power, rail, food research, medical, research and development, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing

One of the most innovative UK consultancies in condition and event monitoring, ADT Rail Systems was acquired by Transmitton earlier this year.

Richard was originally involved in its start-up in 2002 and says, "I am very excited to be returning to ADT Rail Systems and relish the challenge of generating more business opportunities for the company.

I am confident that ADT Rail Systems will become more recognisable as a leading company with the rail industry over the coming months and I'm looking forward to working with such an experienced customer-focused team, dedicated to producing a quality product." ADT Rail Systems, at Siding Road in Fleetwood, is a leading supplier of condition monitoring technologies to the rail industry.

It delivers performance data to users on key assets such as power supplies, points operation, level crossings, track circuits and signalling through its integrated suite of monitoring products, OnTrack.

Richard was involved with the development and design of the OnTrack product range in 2002.

Educated in Blackpool, Richard studied at Blackpool and Fylde Technical College before starting his electronic engineering career and gaining wide experience in the field.
