The plan is to combine the TraceTracker globally recognised traceability software with Traceability Systems experience and expertise in the Irish and Northern Irish food industry to attract new customers.
The goal is to make it simple and cost effective for Irish and Northern Irish companies to share traceability information with their business partners, both local and international.
TraceTracker has demonstrated the ability to track movements and information about ingredients, products and logistical units.
Trace Tracker solutions are proven within complex international value chains, such as Norwegian salmon.
BASF, the largest chemical company in the world is a strong supporter of TraceTracker.
Their Fine Chemicals division uses the TraceTracker global traceability solution, GTNet, to accurately trace their vitamins and food/feed additives with their business partners and across their value chains.
Partnering with TraceTracker was a result of a desire to provide the Irish and British Market with a complete and profitable traceability system and the recognition of GTNet as the best solution with which to address this problem.
TraceTracker will focus on its technology platform and the technical service and support to make the information available to Traceability Systems and their future customers.
