The first forum on Innovations in training in the Oil and Gas Industry was held over two days on 3/4 December 2007 at the newly opened CATCH centre in Humberside
CATCH, the newly opened Centre for the Assessment of Technical Competence in Humberside, cost over 8M Euros This high profile, invitation only event, attracted attendees from all over the world including Libya, Abu Dhabi, Nigeria, and Venezuela and companies such as BP, Exxon Mobil, Murphy Oil and the American Petroleum Institute

Linesman talked about their experiences and sharing solutions in the procurement field.
LJ and Garnet were on hand to talk about improving the effectiveness of English language training across a wide range of topics from science to electronics.
Training Partners expertise and strength is focussed towards personnel training and development leading to nationalisation of trained labour.
INRS software technology allows the user to freely roam around your plant in 3D, linking equipment items to their tag numbers, P and I diagrams, operating instructions, and associated training modules.
And the hosts, TSC Simulation, talked about learning through doing, the founding principle behind their range of dynamic simulation software.
The CATCH facility includes a TSC Virtual Reality Control Room, which was demonstrated during the Forum.
The event forged some excellent partnerships between key organisations to enable a more joined up offering to large oil and gas companies around the world.
