The decision is designed to add impetus to the Hogg existing sales and service operations, by providing expertise in key activities relating to air compressor plant equipment, including specification, installation, energy audits and cost savings.
In addition, Hogg Pneumatic Solutions will now be able to advise customers on current safety legislation, loans from the Carbon Trust, enhanced Capital Allowance Scheme and Pressure System Regulations.
Thorite believes that the new arrangement will also prove beneficial to the synergy of entire Hogg sales operation, by enabling them to provide an after sales service capability with flexible preventative maintenance, ensuring cost-effective operational reliability.
Commenting on the move Ross Gowler, Thorite Marketing Director said: "Hogg Pneumatic Solutions has built a 130 year track record for being the north east's principal provider of pneumatic equipment.
The company will now have total access tothe vast Thorite stock levels, specialist equipment personnel and in-depth resources, ensuring their levels of sales and service back up continue to be pre-eminent in their region".
