TTE Scotland invests in new training
facilities
TTE Scotland is upgrading its training facilities in Grangemouth as part of their business expansion programme

A GBP25,000 investment by TTE at its Evans Business Centre operation will include a specialist process training rig, and upgrading its electrical and instrumentation facilities.
In addition, the company will upgrade its training simulator capabilities and increase the training room provision at the centre.
Part of this programme capital expenditure will go towards the purchase of new equipment.

The TTE Technical Training Group has this month welcomed a record number of young people on to its apprenticeship programmes, with around 200 students, mainly from the Tees Valley area
However, the majority will fund the transfer and construction of existing components from the TTE large training centres in Middlesbrough.
The installation of the process rig will allow TTE Scotland to deliver bespoke practical training to clients in the engineering and chemical sectors.
Through the use of non-hazardous fluids the rig replicates the operation of a process plant allowing technicians to apply their new skills in the workplace.
Vocational process training will also be undertaken on specialist glass process equipment, which allows trainees to see the principle internal operations of chemical equipment.
This facility this is being designed by TTE for the Grangemouth training centre.
TTE process training facilities will be supported by the simulator upgrade, which will allow trainers to deliver powerful and 'real-time' process control room training simulations.
The TTE Technical Training Group recently underwent a strategic restructuring to allow its commercial operations to better support its apprenticeship training charity.
The group's innovative model ensures profits from its commercial endeavours from working with companies such as BP and Shell are reinvested in the training of young people.
Phil Blewitt, Commercial Business Director at The TTE Technical Training Group, said: "TTE Scotland is vital to the Group development and this initiative supports our commitment and growth strategy to ensure we continue to meet the needs of our customers.
"The increasing requirements of employers to develop the skills base within their workforce will allow TTE Scotland to deliver accredited qualifications through high quality and relevant vocational training".
