TTE training for AMPCO in Equatorial
Guinea
The TTE Technical Training Group is expanding its presence in the West African skills market with an agreement to deliver training to technicians from the Atlantic Methanol Production Company (AMPCO)
A group of nine technicians from the company, which is based in Equatorial Guinea, have travelled to the North East of England for nine-month programme to achieve internationally-recognised qualifications and competencies AMPCO operates a methanol production plant on Bioko Island off the west coast of Africa and the technicians work in a range of disciplines at its facility

Among the group are five mechanical technicians, three electrical/instrumentation technicians and a laboratory technician.
Delivered by an experienced training team at the TTE training centres in Middlesbrough and Wilton International in the Tees Valley, the programme will feature of range practical modules related to the oil and gas sector supported by HNC and City and Guilds qualifications.
TTE is an experienced provider of technical training for international companies and consistently welcomes technicians to its North East-base.
A key element of the development of its residential training programmes is the delivery of pastoral care.
TTE has sourced quality accommodation close to its training centres for visiting technicians and provides ongoing support throughout the duration of the training.
During their time in the North East the technicians will also take part in a number of personal development activities.
They will have the chance to experience British culture with trips to Edinburgh and London as well as a range of enjoyable outward-bound exercises.
