In every case the companies submitting their entries were clearly able to impress the judges with their responses to meeting this criteria, but, as the well-used phrase goes, there had to be one winner and one highly commended entry in each of the six categories.

Commenting on the entries for the 2003 IWEX Innovation Awards, following the presentations on Wednesday 12th November, Rob Lozowski, Director of theTurret RAI Water Portfolio reflected on both the number and quality of entries received and the task with which the judges were faced.
"IWEX is a forum for the presentation of technology, products and services for the water and wastewater treatment sector and throughout its history as an exhibition, it has become regarded by the industry as a showcase of all that is current.
By extending the scope of the event to include an Innovations Award programme, the categories of which reflect the current demands of the sector, we have proof-positive that IWEX does indeed receive the support and provide the opportunity to address the most current trends in the market.
We are grateful to all companies, which took time to author and submit entries.
To the winners and those highly commended entrants we offer our congratulations and to those whose entries were not selected, we would emphasise that the quality of all entries made judging extremely difficult and that those entries not selected were still of outstanding quality.".
