Employing chemically resistant engineering plastics, the 'P' Series magnetically-coupled gear pump from Tuthill Pump Group is ideal for applications involving corrosive media It is particularly appropriate where budgets preclude the use of Stainless Steel alternatives but where high chemical resistance is still required

The P Series is a positive displacement unit that offers non-pulsing, leak-proof operation with flow rates ranging up to 4 litres/min.

Differential pressures can be developed up to 10 bar (water), and system pressure up to 21 BarG, whilst media temperatures can be handled between -40 and +66C.

"P" Series are a self-priming unit that will handle viscosities from 0.3 to over 10,000cps.

The engineering plastics (PPS Polyphenylene Sulphide and PTFE Polytetrafluoroethylene) are used for the body, pump-head and bearings of the pump, according to project specification regarding chemical properties of pumped media and noise.

Metal wetted parts are in 316L Stainless Steel.

Motor options include AC, DC, BLDC and Air.

Variable speed, Motor Mate adapter kits are available.

Applications for the P Series include dosing, blending, sampling, cooling, fluid transfer and proportioning throughout industry.
